This role is 27.5 hours per week and 36 weeks per year.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to students and staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Operate kitchen equipment and assist with stock rotation and storage.
- Support the catering team during busy service periods.
- Provide excellent customer service to all college users.
- Previous experience in a catering or food service environment is desirable.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Understanding of dietary requirements and allergen awareness.
