The Office of Facilities Management is seeking candidates for Sustainability Analyst.

 

TCNJ Office of Facilities is seeking a currently enrolled student with strong analytical skills and familiarity with sustainability issues to perform analysis of the College’s resource consumption to document and report on environmental performance metrics. This position will report to the Senior Director of Sustainability and Energy Management.  The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience and/or demonstrated academic interest in utilizing quantitative analysis to inform decision makers on issues of sustainability. 

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Document Resource Consumption using EnergyStar Portfolio Manager

  • Collect and Maintain a record of consumables in the production of heating, cooling, and power to the campus.

  • Analysis of resource consumption and energy generation to improve efficiency and minimize waste and associated emissions.

  • Assist with data collection and maintenance of associated records.

Learning Objectives:

  • Develop Data Analysis Skills

  • Understand Regulatory Accounting Methods

  • Develop Fundamental Understanding of Power Generation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently Enrolled Accounting, Computer Science, Economics, Environmental Studies, and/or Engineering Major.

  • Familiarity with Analytical Software

  • Expressed Interest in Sustainability Issues.
