Position: Marketing and Training Strategist – North Carolina, preferably Charlotte or Raleigh
Role Overview
Responsible for the creation and implementation of training & coaching Multifamily Team Members. Additional duties related to development and execution of marketing/advertising plans will be required for this position. This role is also responsible for assistance in the roll-out and testing of new products related to the multifamily portfolio.
*Some travel required.

Responsibilities
Administrative
- Review pertinent dashboards and software systems to analyze adherence to company policies for leasing performance, advertising analytics, and other related data sets
- Meet regularly with Regional Portfolio Managers and other team members to review reporting and recommend or implement necessary training and adjustments
- Create, analyze, and present community level analytics for advertising and marketing effectiveness
- Manage company-wide vendor relationships with advertisers and other select companies
- Manage and update internal database of training, policies, procedures, and other related items
Training
- Provide continual on-the-job training and mentoring to enable employees to reach individual and community goals
- Develop and conduct in-person and virtual training for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external training partners.
- Provide guidance, testing and training for brand initiatives, systems and technology enhancements and campaigns to uphold and enhance customer experience and operating standards.
Marketing
- Provide analysis and recommended advertising packages for communities.
- Prepare ongoing community performance recommendations.
- Prepare annual marketing expenditure overview and budget recommendations.
- Review and monitor existing programs in place.
- Provide subject-matter level expertise on new technologies, products, and ideas on how to implement marketing and advertising at multifamily communities.
- Review, audit and provide guidance regarding marketing and brand standards.
Other Duties
- Assist with due diligence activities when assessing a new community for potential acquisition.
- Assist with necessary disposition activities during a community sale.
- Participate in the analysis, development, and implementation of certain operating systems as well as associated training.
- Identify performance gaps within portfolio and create effective action plans.
- Additional duties may be required subject to business needs.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a Training or Marketing role in the multifamily industry is strongly preferred
- NALP, CAM, ARM or other industry designations also preferred
- College degree a plus
- Yardi software experience, ability to use other applications and web-based tools
- Previous experience piloting new technology products and practices for our industry
- Demonstrated ability to develop and coach Team Members
- Experience with executing a marketing /advertising plan
- Vehicle, driver’s license, ability to travel (which might require brief overnight stays)
