The Janney Roofing Job Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at roofing job sites to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role serves as the key point of contact between field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers. The coordinator ensures compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and company standards, while maintaining high-quality work and clear communication across all parties involved
$60,000 - $65,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and supervise all on-site roofing activities, ensuring efficient scheduling and workflow.
Serve as the liaison between project management, contractors, suppliers, and crews, and Customers.
Monitor job site safety and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
Inspect work in progress to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Track materials, deliveries, and inventory to ensure timely job progression.
Maintain accurate daily reports including labor hours, project milestones, incidents, and photos.
Resolve issues or delays as they arise and communicate changes or risks to project managers.
Conduct site readiness checks and assist with final inspections and punch lists.
Support onboarding of new crew members and subcontractors to the site.
Ensure site cleanliness and organization throughout the duration of the project.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional construction or roofing certifications are a plus.
3+ years of experience in construction, roofing, or site coordination roles.
Strong knowledge of roofing systems (asphalt, metal, TPO, etc.) and construction safety standards.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficient with basic technology (e.g., mobile apps, email, project tracking software).
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a strong plus
Experience working with residential and commercial roofing projects
Work Environment:
This is a Statewide role that requires regular travel to various job sites and regional offices. Primarily field-based and involves site visits to ensure project alignment and quality control. Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet project demands.
