đŸ”„ BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – BDCÂ đŸ”„

Full-Throttle Opportunity to Grow Our Pack!

Are you ready to ride at the front of the pack and connect people with the freedom of the open road? At our Harley-Davidson dealership, we live and breathe the spirit of adventure, and we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the charge in customer engagement and appointment setting.

This role is about more than just calls—it's about relationships. You’ll be the engine driving new business by keeping the communication lines roaring between the dealership and our riders (and soon-to-be riders).

🏁 Core Purpose

Your mission is to connect, follow up, and fire up customers—potential, new, and returning. You’ll guide them smoothly into the dealership, helping them start their journey to owning or servicing a Harley-Davidson. From the first call to the final handshake, you’re the heartbeat of our customer flow.

đŸ› ïž Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Appointment Management

  • Rev up new business by setting appointments with interested and returning customers.
  • Respond to incoming calls and online leads with speed and style.
  • Follow up with unsold prospects to bring them back to the dealership.
  • Make direct-buy calls for customer-owned bikes and maintain consistent communication.
  • Confirm appointments with the same energy you’d use to start your own Harley-Davidson.

Relationship Building & Customer Care

  • Keep customers in the loop about their inquiries, our inventory, promos, and more.
  • Ensure every customer interaction is memorable—whether by phone, email, or in person.
  • Maintain strong, ongoing communication to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Sales Support & Collaboration

  • Be a vital link between BDC and the sales team to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Support special promotions and new inventory outreach.
  • Be the go-to for accurate and up-to-date product info.

🧠 Qualifications & Skills

  • A passion for delivering top-tier customer service—you live to connect with people.
  • Rockstar-level communication skills—both verbal and written.
  • Experience in a call center or customer service role preferred.
  • Strong multitasking skills—you’ll handle multiple conversations without missing a beat.
  • Comfortable with CRM systems and general computer tasks.
  • Typing speed that can keep up with your fast-talking enthusiasm.

đŸ’Ș Physical Demands

  • Sit, stand, or ride (okay, maybe not ride—during work hours).
  • Occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs).
  • Use of hands and bending required—especially when helping at events or handling gear.

🎾 Work Environment

  • Office-based role, with a collaborative, high-energy team.
  • You’ll hear revving engines and rock music more than elevator music.
  • Occasional exposure to motorcycle-related elements (fuel, exhaust, cleaning supplies, etc.).

đŸ€˜ Why Join Us?

Working here isn’t just a job—it’s a lifestyle. You'll be part of a culture built on freedom, individuality, and a relentless drive to connect people with the world of Harley-Davidson. If you love fast-paced environments, thrive on communication, and want to turn passion into a profession, this is your ride.
