About the Department
The Forsyth County Department of Social Services is seeking a highly motivated, dependable professional to join our team as a Medicaid Eligibility Supervisor specializing in Special Assistance (SA), Long-Term Care (LTC), Community Alternatives Program (CAP), and Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).

Position Duties
This position calls for the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school or GED and three (3) years of experience as a caseworker or investigator in an income maintenance program.
A higher education level may be considered as a substitution for all or part of the experience requirement.
The preferred candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in Adult Medicaid Services policy and processing recertifications in NCFAST, at least 1 year of supervisory experience and a 4-year degree.
Valid driver's license is required.
Other Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess advanced communication skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a strong understanding of Medicaid eligibility policies. This role requires the ability to interpret and apply complex North Carolina Medicaid and Special Assistance policies, as well as proficient use of the NC FAST system. The successful applicant will ensure eligibility determinations are accurate, timely, and compliant with state and federal regulations.
