The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

Your new responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test programs using NI LabVIEW, TestStand, and Python for PXI-based systems (SMU, DPI, FGEN, Oscilloscopes), enabling efficient validation workflows.
  • Lead validation efforts for Automotive Battery Management Systems (BMS), including testing of LDOs, Buck/Boost converters, ADC/DACs, temperature sensors, and cell balancer ICs.
  • Design and review PCB schematics and layouts, applying knowledge of high-speed/high-power design and signal integrity principles to support validation and development.
  • Set up and debug complex hardware systems, including Microcontroller- and FPGA-based platforms, to support a variety of validation and test applications.
  • Operate and manage environmental test systems such as Thermostream, Thermal Chambers, Oil Baths, and MaxTC, ensuring adherence to laboratory best practices and ESD safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, document test results, and actively contribute to process improvement while demonstrating strong communication, teamwork, and technical ownership.


What we look for


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in test automation and PXI-based systems.
  • 2+ years in automotive validation, preferably with BMS or power electronics.
  • Strong knowledge of PCB design tools, circuit analysis, and debugging techniques.
  • Familiarity with validation best practices and standards in the automotive or electronics industry.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; self-driven and quality focused.
