Position Summary: The Elementary School Principal serves as the instructional and administrative leader of the school, fostering a positive climate for learning and ensuring the academic and social-emotional success of all students. The principal is responsible for overseeing all operations of the school, including curriculum implementation, staff supervision, student services, family engagement, and school safety.

Supervises and evaluates certified and classified staff, ensuring that the proper elements of instruction are implemented. Submitting evaluation to the central office
Responds to and resolves concerns or complaints of staff, students and parents in a timely manner
Supervises athletic events, evening school functions and attends school-related community events
Performs other tasks as assigned by administrative staff as designated by the superintendent.
Instructional Leadership
Develops and administers programs consistent with school districts objective and state standards.
Promotes respect and encourages strong relationships among students, staff, families and the community
Manage the operations and all functions with effective leadership.
Establish and communicate clear objectives for all staff, students and parents.
Be positive and creative to encourage all staff to succeed
Invoke approved disciplinary procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
Leadership experience as an elementary school principal preferred
