Primary Purpose:
To provide clerical services to the Athletic Department and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Prerequisites:
High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of school district organization, operations, and administrative policies
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to make independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling
Excellent public relations, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets, perform data analysis, and do word processing
Ability to multi-task numerous complex administrative activities
Experience :
Three years experience as a secretary
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Prepares and distributes eligibility lists and submits them to DEC Chairman.
Responsible for the submitting bus requests and confirming them with transportation department.
Responsible for putting together supervision schedule for all home athletic events and confirming workers.
Responsible for processing work orders once approved by the Athletic Director or Athletic Coordinator.
Be available to work home athletic events and track meets, whether held in the evenings or weekends.
Responsible for processing time sheets for athletic department hourly personnel.
Responsible for scheduling lettermen jacket fittings and keeping an updated list of athletic awards 9-12.
Assists in inventory of athletic equipment and keeps record of all inventories.
Responsible for processing all athletic supply, entry fee, and meal receipt purchase orders.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director and / or Athletic Coordinator.
