Hybrid Deburr Technician II or III at Stellar Technology

Job Summary:

Responsible for deburring and polishing machines parts. Inspect products and report any defects.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Measure and examine, completed parts, detect defects, and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments.
• Work directly with supervisor.
• Follow documented instructions.
• Knowledge with hand tools and measuring instruments
• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Operate and maintain detail and cleaning equipment.
• Other assignments as required.

Competencies Required:    

• High attention to detail.
• At least 3 – 5 years of experience finishing production parts.
• Experience detailing production parts.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Comprehension of metal surface finishes.
• Ability to learn and apply advanced technical concepts
• Able to communicate effectively with management and co-workers to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork
• Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function as needed
• Must be dependable and available to work overtime when required
• Understands and demonstrates comprehension of drawings, blueprints and manufacturing work instructions
• Self motivated and able to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision
• Ability to carry/lift up to 35 lbs. (50% of the time). 
• Must have ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift or handle tools, parts and equipment.
• Must have 20/20 vision with correction, and no color blindness, steady hands with good dexterity.
