Responsibilities:

 

Keysight's High Frequency Technology Center (HFTC) in Santa Rosa invents and delivers some of the world's highest performing semiconductor devices. HFTC is seeking a Semiconductor Integration Engineering Manager to lead development, support, and oversee the continual improvement of compound semiconductor and other microfabrication processes. Team goals encompass both R&D and manufacturing. The Integration Engineering Manager will lead a highly capable team of semiconductor device and process experts.

Technologies may encompass: ultra-high performance InP HBTs, GaAs FETs and HBTs, advanced heterogeneous integration, photodiodes, THz diode mixers, and other bleeding edge devices. This position has a high degree of project and technical leadership, particularly around the complex interplay between processes and electrical/reliability performance.

 

Responsibilities:

The Integration Engineering Manager key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Integration Engineering team to optimize performance and reliability of high-frequency MMICs
  • Maintaining yield, cycle time, quality, on-time delivery, and other manufacturing goals
  • Manage a team that is responsible for successful transfer of new technologies from R&D to manufacturing

  • Maintain a culture where innovation is an expectation
  • Continuously adapt to a portfolio of rapidly evolving issues and priorities

  • Use efficient and effective project management and financial analysis tools. Demonstrate high levels of business acumen.
Qualifications:

 

This is a highly technical position and requires both engineering and leadership skills, including:

  • Experience in semiconductor technology development and device physics is mandatory
  • Thorough knowledge of DOE, SPC, and related techniques are required to be successful in this position
  • Previous experience with high-performance III-V semiconductors would be a significant asset
  • MSc or PhD (preferred) in a related discipline is required
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven, significant project leadership is required for exceptional candidates, with typically 5+ years management experience expected
