The Opportunity
We are in need of a real “go-getter” who can make an immediate impact in our Los Angeles property management division. The main objective of this managerial role is to lead and work alongside a team that manages a portfolio of single-family homes, townhomes, condos, and multi-family properties in the Los Angeles and surrounding area. This position requires a quick learner who can take initiative, and has impeccable follow-through and communication skills.
Please note: This is NOT a remote position and will require the selected person to work out of our Gardena office and and 1 day per week in our Newport Beach office..
What You'll Do
Manage a high-volume portfolio of single-family homes, townhomes, condos, and multi-family properties
Manage, lead, and train the property management team
Provide exceptional customer service and account management to property owners and tenants
Respond to tenant concerns and requests on a timely basis to ensure tenant satisfaction
Maintain accurate records for all properties and submit them in a timely manner to include maintenance requests, monthly statements, move-in/move-out reports, etc.
Confirm all leases and corresponding paperwork are completed accurately and on time
Maintain and build our outstanding reviews and ratings on Yelp, Google, and Zillow
Take accountability and hold a team accountable to maintain client satisfaction
Run background checks and screening for applications
Foster strong relationships with our preferred vendors and help build and maintain our approved vendor list
Take direction well but exercise good, independent judgment when necessary
Must be available for emergency on-call rotation
What Qualifies You
Property management experience to include single family residential, regional multi-family, and/or multi-site residential
California Real Estate license or the ability to obtain it within the first 120 days of employment
Experience managing teams of 5+ people
Experience using CRM and property management software
Quick learner with a passion for real estate
Highly self-motivated and willing to put forth extra effort consistently
