Seeking Assistant Teacher & Aide to assist in our Montessori classrooms!

We serve children ages 6 weeks to 6 years of age and are more than just a childcare or day care - we offer a holistic, nurturing Montessori environment and program! We also offer a summer school age program!

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in managing classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Support students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, by providing individualized attention.
• Help prepare instructional materials and assist in lesson planning.
• Foster effective communication with students and parents regarding progress and behavior.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children during classroom and outdoor activities.
• Participate in professional development and training sessions as required.

Requirements

 Assistant Teachers

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Must meet minimum education requirements (e.g., some college coursework, CDA) — or be willing to obtain required qualifications
• Pediatric First Aid & CPR certification (can be completed within 90 days of hire)
• Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprinting

Aides

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply
• Part-time positions available, with opportunities for after-school hours
• Pediatric First Aid & CPR certification (can be completed within 90 days of hire)
• Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprinting
