Key Responsibilities
- 6+ years of experience in technical documentation, preferably within a product-based company.
- Proven experience with Zendesk for creating layouts, templates, and other content elements.
- Hands-on experience in developing online help, release notes, user guides, and other technical content.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise, and accurate documentation.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge and domain expertise.
- Proficient in HTML5 and CSS, and able to collaborate effectively with UI designers for tweaks and changes in templates and layouts.
- Demonstrable ability to create clear, crisp, and user-friendly documentation. Willingness to share work samples.
- Collaborate with SEO teams to ensure content is easily discoverable by users.
- Work closely with developers, testers, and product managers to understand product requirements and changes, filtering out non-essential inputs.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting requirements and priorities.
- Ability to engage with Irish/UK audiences and respond promptly to queries or feedback.
- Technical acumen to troubleshoot and offer solutions for documentation challenges.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Adaptable to changing requirements and able to take on new tasks quickly.
