Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for set up and operation of Bobst die cut equipment to accurately product to customer specifications.
- Maintains general knowledge and understanding of die cutting processes and equipment.
- Follows all standard operating procedures and instructions relevant to the job and position
- Performs routine adjustments during the press run and maintains production throughout the run
- Ensure information is communicated between shifts
- Performs all assigned work effectively and on schedule
- Keeps work area neat and clean
- Performs other job duties as assigned
- Ensure company safety quality and production standards are met
- Ability to stand eight plus hours per day
- Ability to work overtime
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in die cutting operations, including setup, troubleshooting, and quality control
Requirements
- In depth knowledge of mechanics and capabilities of die cutting press
- Strong mechanical aptitude/skills
- Requires experience running, troubleshooting and quality control
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Understand technical written (and verbal) instructions, setup the die cutter and carry out instructions
- Strong math and computer skills required
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Occasional bending, reaching, twisting and stooping
- Ability to stand 8 to 12 hours
- May be exposed to hot/humid and/or duty work environment
- May be exposed to controlled non-toxic chemical mists or vapors
