The company is seeking a Solutions Engineer with relevant experience to join the U.S. tech team. The position will report to the Director of Engineering. Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations:
Assist in the pre-sales process by providing succinct technical information to customers and internal team members
Generate and provide technical presentations and proposals throughout the sales process
Demonstrate and utilize a deep understanding of DroneShield’s product offering, solutions, technology, and roadmap
Answer customer Requests for Information and Requests for Proposals
Prepare and lead technical product demonstrations for customers
Assist partner integration and collaboration efforts
This role requires up to 50% travel, 25% is typical.
This role is required in-office at Warrenton, VA office.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role
Strong written and verbal communication abilities including customer facing, in person, technical presentation experience
Comfortable operating in a Linux environment with solid fundamental understanding of networking, systems, and software
Technical expertise with networked devices, telecommunications, radio frequency, electronic warfare or machine learning/ artificial intelligence systems is highly favorable
Previous experience working in the Defense, Aerospace, or Public Safety industries is highly regarded
