Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a growing team of BI Developers, fostering a collaborative environment focused on high-impact analytics and data storytelling.
- Drive the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise dashboards and visualizations, with a strong emphasis on usability, performance, and business value.
- Establish best practices for dashboard design, Tableau development standards, and data governance.
- Define and reinforce a clear set of guiding principles that shape team culture, align development practices, and support consistent, high-quality execution across BI initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to translate business goals into data-driven strategies and reporting solutions.
- Oversee the lifecycle of BI projects from intake through delivery, ensuring timelines and quality expectations are met.
- Promote user adoption and data literacy
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure data pipelines and models support reporting needs efficiently and reliably.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Advanced Tableau expertise, including dashboard UX design, performance tuning, and complex calculations.
- Strong command of SQL and experience working with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
- Proven experience leading BI teams or projects, with a track record of delivering impactful reporting solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus.
Location:
This position is based in our Fremont, CA office but offers remote working flexibility.
