What You’ll Do in Your First 6–12 Months
Build and own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles across engineering, AI, and product.
Partner with Jon, Jeff, and hiring managers to define scorecards, structure loops, and close top-tier talent.
Develop outbound sourcing strategies to consistently bring in high-signal candidates—beyond LinkedIn.
Ensure a world-class candidate experience from first touch to offer letter.
Stand up a structured recruiting process that can scale with the company’s growth.
Help define and refine Assort’s talent brand through tools, copy, and creative candidate engagement.
What You Bring
2–6 years of in-house recruiting experience in fast-paced, high-bar environments—ideally with a focus on technical roles.
Full-cycle recruiting expertise, from scorecard creation and sourcing to offers and closing.
Creative sourcing skills beyond LinkedIn—comfortable using GitHub, forums, referrals, and new AI sourcing tools.
Excellent communication and candidate-facing instincts—you can pitch the mission and build trust fast.
Strong ownership mindset—you move quickly, manage your own pipeline, and raise the bar every week.
