Location: Sizewell C, Orwell Logistics Park, Ipswich, Suffolk (5 days a week onsite) with potential work on Saturdays.
Contract: Permanent, full-time.
Salary: Competitive depending on experience plus benefits.

About the Role
Are you ready to take the lead in one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects?
We’re looking for a Site Operations DMS & AIL Planning Manager to oversee the Delivery Management System (DMS) and coordinate all Abnormal Indivisible Loads (AILs) for the Sizewell C project. Reporting to the Site Operations Freight & Logistics Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery operations across the site and its associated developments.
This is a high-impact role requiring strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and technical expertise in logistics and transport operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the management of the Datascope DMS, ensuring effective scheduling and tracking of all deliveries.
Plan and coordinate AIL movements, securing necessary permits and liaising with local authorities and emergency services.
Ensure compliance with Development Consent Order (DCO) caps and regulations.
Provide training and oversight to Tier 1 contractors and G4S Freight Management Team.
Deliver monthly Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP) reports for internal and public stakeholders.
Support emergency preparedness and contribute to the future safety case process.
Champion a collaborative, respectful, and safety-focused culture across all logistics operations.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience in AIL and DMS operations, ideally within a nuclear or high-security environment.
Strong knowledge of transport regulations and delivery management systems (Datascope preferred).
Experience in contract oversight, health & safety, and logistics planning.
Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and SZC IT applications.
Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and deliver under pressure.
Desirable Qualifications
Chartered Membership of a relevant professional body.
Recognised qualifications in Logistics & Transport and Health & Safety.
Experience with INPO standards and behavioural safety programmes.
Transport Operators Licence holder.
