We are seeking a seasoned Principal Architect – Red Hat OpenShift & Automation to lead enterprise containerization and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible Automation Platform, Kubernetes, and public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of driving end-to-end delivery, stakeholder engagement, and building Red Hat practices across the organization.
 


Roles and Responsibilities
  • Architect and deliver enterprise-grade solutions based on Red Hat OpenShift across hybrid cloud environments.
  • Design and implement end-to-end automation using Ansible Automation Platform.
  • Lead customer engagements, driving workshops, solution discussions, and project scoping.
  • Define and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
  • Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and automation via Python scripting.
  • Lead the build-out of Red Hat practice in India, including hiring, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide technical leadership across multiple projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Upskill team members and enable internal capability development on emerging Red Hat technologies.
  • Serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity.


    • Qualifications
  • 12+ years of industry experience with at least 5+ years in a leadership or architect role.
  • Hands-on experience in Red Hat OpenShift (4.x) implementation and administration.
  • Expertise with Ansible Automation Platform (Tower, playbooks, workflows).
  • Strong experience in Kubernetes and container orchestration principles.
  • Proven experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Python scripting, and DevOps toolchains.
  • Experience in building enterprise-scale, highly available, and secure platforms.
  • Strong documentation skills for HLD, LLD, and operational runbooks.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer interfacing skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage delivery timelines, and mentor peers
  • Red Hat Certifications: RHCE, EX280, EX447, EX288, or EX407.
  • Cloud certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and cloud-native patterns.
  • Experience with service mesh, observability tools, and security in container platforms.
