What you will do:
Provide practical legal advice and support across a broad spectrum of areas, with a strong focus on data protection (GDPR) and regulatory compliance related to in-app advertising solutions, alongside contract law, intellectual property, and general compliance matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts such as service agreements, partnership agreements, license agreements, and NDAs, ensuring alignment with company standards and risk tolerance
Monitor legal and regulatory developments - both domestic and international - that may impact the company’s business, and communicate key changes to relevant stakeholders.
Support the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Contribute to internal training initiatives, raising awareness on legal compliance topics, intellectual property protection, and data privacy best practices throughout the organization.
Who you are:
Fluent in German (C1) and English, both written and spoken.
A law degree from a recognized university in Germany, ideally with admission to the German Bar (“Volljurist”).
A minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably in the technology sector or a law firm advising fast-growing technology companies.
Expertise in data protection laws, ideally with experience in gaming law, complemented by strong knowledge of contract law, compliance matters, and a solid understanding of intellectual property rights.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal professionals.
Proactive, solution-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to identify when 80/20 is enough.
