Overview

Walton Isaacson, LLC’s (“WI”) Project Manager role provides a structured approach to organizing, coordinating, and scheduling tasks across teams, departments, and external partners to meet project goals on time and within budget. This role is central to driving the successful execution of projects by ensuring clear communication, efficient processes, and timely delivery. The Project Manager applies strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and leadership to resolve scheduling issues, manage competing priorities, and keep work moving forward. They are responsible for monitoring scheduled jobs and projects from planning through close-out, submitting reports as needed, and working with all departments to ensure deliverables meet quality standards. This role also manages workflow adjustments and communicates changes to keep all stakeholders aligned.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path activities.
  • Proactively manage project budgets, resource capacity, and utilization forecasting.
  • Clearly define and track project deliverables and milestones.
  • Ensure timely execution of project initiation and closure activities.
  • Effectively manage client and executive expectations across the duration of the project.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope and communicate impact.
  • Identify risks and develop appropriate contingency plans.
  • Coordinate with resource managers to secure and allocate appropriate team resources.
  • Facilitate and deliver weekly status reports and meetings with internal and client teams, including updates on timing, budgets, and open issues.
  • Maintain accurate historical records to help agency leadership identify operational efficiencies.
  • Prioritize and manage daily workflow across concurrent projects.
  • Schedule and lead meetings that support project momentum and timely completion.
  • Promote accountability and collaboration through respectful, solution-oriented communication.
  • Submit required reporting through internal systems such as Wrike and Deltek Maconomy.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with WI’s standards of conduct.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years of project management experience in an agency or production environment.
  • Hands-on experience using Wrike for project scheduling, task management, and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Mac-based environments, including Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable working in-office or remotely, depending on business need.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Certification in Project Management such as PMP, CAPM, Agile, or equivalent.
  • Experience using Deltek Maconomy or similar timekeeping/resource management platforms.
  • Experience with SmartSheet, Ziflow, Adobe Acrobat, MS Teams, or other asset review tools.
  • Familiarity with production workflows across digital, print, social, experiential, and integrated campaign environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities and high-volume workloads.
  • Experience supporting large-scale campaigns or enterprise-level clients.

The salary range for this position is $62,000.00 to $72,000.00 (annualized, salary, exempt). Where an employee or prospective employee falls within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual pay ranges for current or former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market and budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (for current employees); as well as the employee’s or applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
