Role Overview: Join us as an Account Executive on our growing sales team, where you'll build upon strong founder-led sales momentum to scale enterprise adoption. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you'll collaborate closely with experts across business development, climate science, data analytics, product development, and finance. Your primary focus will be engaging and acquiring institutional asset managers and asset owners.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, strategic progression, negotiation, and deal closure
- Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers in enterprise risk management, credit analysis, quantitative modeling, sustainability, and financial leadership
- Work with internal experts to customize demonstrations and proposals that precisely address prospect needs
- Clearly communicate First Street’s unique value and align it with client business goals
- Conduct compelling presentations, demos, and negotiations
- Maintain an organized, accurate sales pipeline and deliver regular progress updates
- Consistently achieve or exceed established sales quotas with a strong emphasis on acquiring new clients
- Travel as needed to engage prospects and close deals
Requirements:
- Proven success in enterprise-level sales, preferably within data, SaaS, or financial software
- Experience selling directly to institutional asset managers and asset owners
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders across multiple levels
- Skilled in translating complex technical solutions into clear, accessible presentations
- Driven by curiosity, eager to master product offerings, and passionate about climate risk
- Demonstrated hunter mentality, strong work ethic, and resilience in a dynamic sales environment
- Record of consistently exceeding revenue targets
- Proven ability to execute targeted go-to-market strategies effectively
- Track record of generating new leads from diverse sources
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience engaging with REITs, institutional asset managers, or asset owners
