Job Summary of the Tissue Services Trainer
The Tissue Services Trainer will develop and execute tissue/nerve recovery training to recovery agency partners and employees. Maintains relationships with recovery agency partners and participates on projects to promote company growth and advancement.
Requirements of the Tissue Services Trainer
- Associates degree plus a minimum of 3 years of tissue recovery experience
- Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) required
- Experience training tissue recovery technicians
- Must be able to travel 70% of the time
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Must have attention to detail and proficient computer skills.
Responsibilities of the Tissue Services Trainer
The specific duties of the Tissue Services Trainer include but are not limited to:
- Assist in identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with tissue recovery partners
- Develop and maintain donor acceptance criteria based on product requirements and state/federal regulations
- Develop and facilitate recovery training programs and SOP’s
- Perform and/or train surgical recovery of tissues
- Coordinate supplies for recovery partners
- Create and ensure proper implementation of recovery protocols
- On call case screening of cases for acceptance according to donor acceptance criteria
- Develop and implement anatomical training courses for recovery teams and company personnel
- Actively participate on project teams with Quality, Manufacturing, Product Development, Marketing and Sales to improve and develop current or new products
- Develop and administer schedules and performance requirements related to areas of responsibility.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and SOP’s
