We are currently searching for a Wellness and Benefits Coordinator to join our Human Resources team at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte.
The Wellness and Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and managing OC’s Wellness Program in alignment with the goals of our Total Rewards Program. The Wellness and Benefits Coordinator will also assist with other Benefits functions. This role is eligible for hybrid work.
Essential Functions:
- Conducts orientation to educate new employees on all aspects of the OC Wellness Program.
- Answers employee questions regarding the Wellness program activities and requirements.
- Responsible for the integrity of the Wellness data within the HRIS system.
- Plans, promotes and administers wellness programs including Wellness events, Lunch & Learns and Challenges.
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships with applicable third-party vendors and within the community, especially the fitness and Wellness community.
- Assist Internal Communications Specialist in drafting communications to employees to educate staff regarding new programming and benefits including a weekly newsletter.
- Partners with Leave Specialist in the administration of Team Member leaves and incidents.
- Maintains leave tracking and secure documentation storage, and flags inconsistencies or unresolved cases for further review.
- Manages the standard return-to-work process and monitors ongoing leave cases to ensure timely returns or processing of extensions.
- Manages the SharePoint platform for Wellness and Benefits, creating and updating content on a regular basis.
- Assists with benefit projects including open enrollment.
- Reconciles monthly benefit premium invoices and partners with Finance on company allocations.
- Assists with the creation and review of benefit User Guides for Workday.
- Manages the day-to-day payroll changes in Workday as it relates to benefits for staff & Physician payrolls.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Community Health or Human Services
- 3+ years’ experience in health, wellness
- 3+ years’ of Employee Benefits and/or Leaves Administration experience.
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Workday preferred) and multiple external benefit vendor partner reporting systems.
