Join our team and be part of developing product definitions that will drive the transportation technology of tomorrow at Daimler Trucks North America.The Technical Marketing Analyst II position utilizes a content management tool to organize a complex product portfolio database, consisting of published datacodes and descriptions, along with the associated compatibility rules, prices and weights, with the intent of publishing and distributing this content in to our in-house DTNA Truck Configuration and Sales application.

What You Drive at DTNA
- Extract and transform data from various sources including IMS, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Load and maintain transformed data into a content management tool and product definition databases that supports and structures DTNA’s product offerings in the marketplace.
- Drive continuous improvements in our product definition content, tools, and work flow processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Serve as a back-up to content management tool system administrator:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the system and user requirements
- Able to install content management tool for new users
- Triage and trouble shoot software issues reported by other analysts
- Participate in system upgrades and user acceptance testing

- Customer Application Engineering
- Engineering Compatibility
- SpecPro
- Platform Strategy
- Marketing Strategy
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science or related field and prefer 2+ years of relevant experience
- Proven ability to interpret complex engineering documentation and translate it into clear, user-friendly content for non-technical audiences, such as dealers and customers.
- Ability to manage and maintain product definition data across multiple platforms, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and usability.
- Comfortable troubleshooting software issues, supporting user onboarding, and participating in system upgrades and testing.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Pricing, Marketing, and Strategy teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a willingness to identify inefficiencies and contribute to workflow enhancements.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have
- Experience with Continuous Improvement, LEAN concepts and visual management best practices preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in technical documentation, product configuration, or data management—preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, or transportation environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of structured data and content management principles, with hands-on experience using tools like Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables), PowerPoint, and content management systems preferred.
- Experience working with product configuration or specification systems (e.g., SpecPro or similar tools), including data entry, validation, and option setup preferred.
- Experience in an engineering, manufacturing or service environment preferred.
- 3 years of trucking industry experience preferred.
