Hybrid Manager, Asset Protection for In Home Strategy at Best Buy

As the Asset Protection Manager for In Home Strategy, you’ll be the go-to expert supporting our field teams and ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence. You’ll use data to spot risks before they become problems, collaborate across teams to solve challenges, and help shape the future of our In Home Services. This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. What you’ll do

• Support the development and execution of the strategic vision for In Home Asset Protection.
• Use reporting and data to identify risks, close gaps, and improve safety and compliance.
• Act as the voice of Asset Protection in cross-functional meetings and strategy sessions.
• Partner with corporate teams and vendors to solve problems and assess risk.
• Respond to field questions and escalations, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Monitor and manage incoming AP intakes to support field operations.

Basic qualifications

• 3 years of experience in retail or services
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint)
• 2 years of direct or indirect people leadership experience
• Proven leadership ability in managing cross-functional teams and field support initiatives
• Strong analytical skills to interpret reporting, identify trends, and drive data-informed 
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, especially when partnering across corporate functions and vendor ecosystems
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving escalations and closing gaps
• High level of integrity, discretion, and judgment in handling sensitive situations and decisions

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with incident management systems, risk assessments, and field compliance tools
• Familiarity with In Home service operations, scheduling platforms, or technician workflow
• Strategic thinking to help shape the future direction and vision of the AP team
• Comfort presenting AP perspectives in executive-level discussions and cross-functional strategy sessions
