The Department of Chemistry at Mount Holyoke College invites applicants for a full-time tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank beginning July 1, 2026. The successful candidate may come from any sub-disciplinary background and will routinely teach the lecture and laboratory sections of the foundational analytical chemistry course, in addition to advanced course(s) in their area of expertise. The teaching load at Mount Holyoke College is 2/2. A Ph.D. (completed or anticipated) is required.
Applicants should have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and research; a research program involving experimental measurements and analyses that can easily accommodate and encourage undergraduates is crucial. The successful applicant will have a broad background in chemistry and possess strong teaching, writing, and interpersonal skills.
