Job Details
The FP&A Manager, Corporate Functions is responsible for managing the financial planning process through Cencora’s financial management system as well as financial planning related initiatives. Provides guidance and expertise to functional managers relative to financial planning and budgetary matters. This role is ideal for a highly analytical and strategic leader with a strong financial background who can drive efficiency and provide insights to support decision-making across Cencora's Corporate Functions.
Responsibilities
Develop and oversee Long-Range Plans, annual budgets, and monthly forecasts.
Prepare and present financial results and guidance to Corporate Function leaders (Finance, HR, Strategy, Legal).
Lead financial modeling for current and future business solutions.
Manage and develop finance staff, focusing on strategy, development, and engagement.
Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and insights.
Use financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, SAP) to ensure accurate reporting and provide actionable insights.
Conduct detailed financial analysis and reporting on Corporate Functions spend.
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and business cases.
Education and Work Experience
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education; Degree in Accounting, Information Technology and/or Finance; CPA preferred. Normally requires a minimum of six (6) years progressively responsible related experience.
Skills and Knowledge
Knowledge of various financial management principles, financial statement analysis, business law, plan development, productivity and profitability analysis
Ability to implement and support an enterprise-wide financial planning tool
Demonstrates initiative and has a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines
Strong spreadsheet and general ledger skills
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to senior leaders
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent problem solving skills and sound judgment
Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
Expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and tools like Hyperion EPM and MS Excel
Strong project management, leadership, and team development abilities
Expertise in MS Word, PowerBI, and PowerPoint
