Hybrid Customer Service Representative at AmeriVet

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and pets warmly, creating a positive first impression

• Answer phone calls, emails, and messages promptly and professionally

• Schedule and confirm appointments, procedures, and follow-up visits

• Maintain accurate client and patient records in our practice management system

• Process payments, invoices, and assist with insurance claims if applicable

• Provide client education and answer questions about clinic services, medications, and policies

• Communicate with veterinary staff regarding patient needs and client concerns

• Maintain a clean and organized reception area

• Assist with filing, inventory management, and general administrative duties

• Handle emotionally charged situations with empathy and professionalism

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer service setting preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable using computers and veterinary software systems (experience with [insert software, if applicable] is a plus)

• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care

• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Fast-paced, team-oriented veterinary clinic

• May require working evenings, weekends, and some holidays

• Ability to sit, stand, and move around the clinic for extended periods

• Occasional handling of pets (dogs, cats, and other small animals)
