Provides supervision, oversight and technical leadership to the inspectors on-site. Liaison between Boeing and SQA inspection team.  Provide direction to inspectors to ensure quality requirements and performance goals are achieved. Coach, mentor and train inspection personnel to enhance their skill sets. Ensure aircraft structures comply with applicable drawings/specifications. Set a good leadership example for staff to follow and streamline inspection methods and processes. Observes and verifies the accuracy and adequacy of the inspection activities and records. Maintains quality metrics and reports, as required, and implements appropriate preventive/corrective action to improve quality. Supervises the day-to-day activities of the quality inspection team on the inspection of materials, processes, parts, assemblies, finished parts to assure quality products. Provides quality expertise and training for all inspection positions in order to maintain a smooth flowing operation. Routinely inspects products as needed for all product lines. Participate in the daily supervisor meetings ensuring Quality items/issues for the scope of the work are discussed.
