Salary Range: $75706 - $98422 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the N02-F COMPTROLLER Division of COMMANDER US NAVAL FORCES EUROPE Italy.

Major Duties:

  • You will serve as a liaison with higher headquarters budget analysts on pertinent issues, responding promptly to budget queries.
  • You will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of policies, precedents, goals, objectives, and guidelines of financial regulations.
  • You will research and interpret financial regulations to find solutions to complex fiscal issues. Provide financial guidance and assistance to NAVEUR/NAVAF/SIXTHFLT managers and staff.
  • You will prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Fund Status Reports for use by senior analysts and management.
  • You will monitor and analyze all funding requests under cognizance to ensure funds do not exceed amounts authorized.
  • You will assist in performance of budget administration functions in the budget formulation, execution and review of the command's operating budget.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience may include: 1) Utilizing Financial Systems: Standard Budgeting and Reporting System (SABRS), Command Financial Management System (CFMS), Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP); 2) Generating funding documents and reconciliation of financial transactions; 3) Producing budget exhibits; 4) Developing spend plans, obligation phasing plans and tracking variances throughout budget execution cycle.
