Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking an Issue Resolution Manager for Snap’s Loan and Lease businesses. This role will report directly to Snap’s Senior Manager, Internal Controls. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate a robust understanding of Snap’s loan business and products and be able to drive issues through the remediation process within required SLAs. Must possess superb communication skills and be able to manage many issues, processes, variables, and stakeholders simultaneously.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Manage day-to-day processes for identifying, tracking, remediating, reporting, and closing control failures logged as issues in Snap’s issue management system of record.
- Assist with issue classification, prioritization, root cause analysis, customer impact and action planning.
- Coordinate process owners, subject matter experts, third parties and development teams in the remediation process.
- Coordinate issue management between Internal Controls and Compliance.
- Assist with remediation of customer accounts.
- Perform closure validations to ensure issue remediations performed by the business are complete, accurate and effective.
- Work with the monitoring team to investigate and resolve errors generated by Snap’s automated monitoring.
- Assist with the creation of process maps.
- Assist management as needed.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Have a minimum experience of 3+ years in a risk and control function within a financial institution.
- Experience managing all phases of the issue remediation process.
- Expertise in validating issue closure documentation.
- Have excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Can organize large teams of stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
- Knowledge of designing SQL queries to help analyze issue scope, scale and impact.
