Remote Senior HRIS Analyst at Pennant Services

The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) analyst is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s Workday system.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Configures new Workday features and optimizes currently utilized features. Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure the optimal solution meets the business's needs.
- Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS upgrades or patches. Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate the application of an upgrade or fix. Actively seeks ways to leverage any new functionality of the system.
- Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, process improvements, and best practices as they relate to the HRIS
- Responsible for developing and enhancing strong partnerships/collaboration with departments to gather information and translate that into a business process/system functionality that both aligns with the needs of the business and keeps the end user experience in mind.
- Provides tier 2/3 technical support for the HR department and SMEs as it relates to systems, best practices, processes, access, and reporting needs. Recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements as needed.
- Generates reports, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Helps maintain data integrity and security in systems by running audit reports and analyzing data.
- Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Trains end-users on new processes and functionality.
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications
The requirements and qualifications for an HRIS analyst may vary depending on the size, type, and needs of the organization, but they typically include the following:
- A bachelor's degree in human resource management, information technology, computer science, or a related field
- A minimum of five years of experience in HRIS analysis, administration, or development
- A solid knowledge of HR processes, functions, and regulations
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in Workday
- A high level of analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- An ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
