Sr. Fraud Risk Management Analyst

As a Sr. Fraud Risk Management Analyst, you’ll execute successful construction, implementation, and comprehensive analysis of Alegeus’ fraud risk management alerts to accurately identify potentially fraudulent activity across Alegeus’ clients and consumers. Alongside the best and the brightest, you will regularly:
Leverage advanced data analytics and fraud expertise to identify emerging fraud trends, recommend proactive mitigation strategies, and enhance fraud detection policies, rules, and alerts.
Conduct complex investigations into suspicious or anomalous activity, determining appropriate resolutions and guiding junior analysts with complex analysis.
Design and implement advanced internal and external fraud reporting capabilities and/or alerts by integrating multiple data sources to support shifting fraud trends and client-specific needs.
Monitor daily fraud activity and system behavior, flagging deviations from expected patterns and providing actionable insights to reduce risk exposure.
Support analysts (Levels I & II) by offering advanced analytical guidance, oversight, and training aligned with team goals and evolving fraud threats.
Represent the Fraud Risk Management team in internal and external meetings, delivering expert insights, presenting risk mitigation strategies, and enhancing client service experiences.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational gaps, leading complex fraud risk projects, and stepping into leadership roles as needed in the absence of management.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR CREATING A LASTING IMPACT

Abilities: Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced functionality; skilled in creating reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders. Familiarity with data mining and business intelligence tools is a plus. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Experience: 5+ years’ experience preferably in the financial services industry and/or in a technical role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (such as finance, economics, statistics, business, information systems or similar).
Location: Hybrid (Maitland, FL or Milwaukee, WI)
