Responsibilities:

Intrado is looking to hire an Associate Sales Account Executive to join our Carrier Sales team. 

 

As an Associate Sales Account Executive, you will support the growth of our client base by focusing on top-of-funnel sales activities, including prospecting, lead qualification, and assisting in the early stages of the sales cycle. This entry level sales role is ideal for individuals who are eager to build a career in technology sales. You will work closely with senior sales executives and cross-functional teams to develop your skills and contribute to team revenue goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities in target markets
  • Use tools like LinkedIn, CRM, email campaigns, and cold calling to generate leads
  • Qualify inbound and outbound prospects based on ideal customer profiles

Sales Support & Coordination:

  • Assist in setting up discovery calls and product demos for senior sales reps
  • Support preparation of client-facing materials including presentations and proposals
  • Track activities and maintain detailed notes in CRM systems

Client Interaction:

  • Participate in introductory calls and early-stage meetings with prospects
  • Conduct initial needs assessments to understand customer challenges
  • Communicate product value propositions with clarity and enthusiasm

 Sales Pipeline Management:

  • Collaborate with Sales Executives to move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Update pipeline data regularly and help forecast new business opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and product teams to improve lead quality

Market & Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and product updates
  • Gather and relay prospect feedback to sales and product teams

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field

 

Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in a sales, sales development, or business development role
  • Some experience with outbound sales tactics and cold calling needed
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Interest in technology and a desire to learn complex products and solutions

The starting salary is anticipated between $65,000 and $70,000 and will be commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for sales commissions of $30,000 at plan.
