General Purpose:

 The Policy and Procedure Coordinator supports policy and procedures development and maintenance, as part of the Risk & Compliance Department to ensure timely and accurate review, update and posting of policies and procedures; support risk and compliance in ensuring STRIDE meets or exceeds compliance standards. 



Essential Duties/Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages policy and procedure library, establishing and enforcing standards for structure, content and format.
  • Coordinates maintenance of policies and procedures within the policy management software.
  • Develops policies and procedures to support organizational compliance.
  • Develops educational resources and training for staff who write, review, edit and use policies, procedures.
  • Develops educational resources and training for staff who are responsible for local departmental procedures, including organization, retention, format, and support to assure aligned and professional local resources.
  • Trains authorized users of the system on how to review and approve documents.
  • Participates in the Risk & Compliance Committee and actively contributes to the Policy & Procedure subgroup of the Committee
  • Assists with internal and external audits
  • Monitors revisions, additions of procedures to ensure consistency across departments.
  • Assists with editing and formatting relevant documents and forms
  • Provides guidance to assist policy owners to meet relevant regulatory and accreditation standards related to policies/procedures.
  • Works collaboratively with multiple internal and external partners.
  • Perform other projects, tasks and duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Risk & Compliance, including but not limited to credentialing and privileging processes and documents.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in healthcare compliance, required.
  • High School diploma or GED, required. Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
  • Additional internal auditing experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of the following applications: MS Office. Proficient with MS Word, Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge of Internet and Intranet resources.
  • Strong proofreading skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organized with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency

Miscellaneous Requirements:

  • Comply with all onboarding and employee health requirements. 


Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

This hybrid role requires candidates to be located in Colorado or in the process of relocating.  


We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000-$65,000, depending on your experience.

This range reflects STRIDE’s good faith estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting. The final salary for the selected candidate will be determined based on several factors, including experience, education, budget, internal equity, specialty, and training.
