Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dental care to patients, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all patients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dental procedures by ensuring they are comfortable and relaxed
- Assist the dentist during procedures, including passing tools and instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and instruments
- Educate patients on proper dental care and hygiene
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Perform administrative tasks as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed dental assistant program or relevant certification
- Experience working in a dental office preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of dental procedures, equipment, and terminology
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Must be X-ray certified
