Your Role:
As a Daytime Esthetics Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to educate and inspire students in various aspects of esthetics, including skincare techniques, makeup artistry, and the latest beauty trends. You will implement a hands-on learning approach that empowers students to develop the skills and confidence necessary for a successful career in the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum.
• Provide hands-on instruction and demonstrations in skincare and makeup techniques.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
• Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment in the classroom.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and educational best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Educator License in the State of Illinois is required.
• Demonstrated experience in esthetics, with strong knowledge of skincare and makeup application.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students effectively.
• A genuine passion for teaching and mentoring future beauty professionals.
• Availability for daytime teaching hours, Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm cst

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $20.00 and $23.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
