Your role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director for our Renewables division, focusing specifically on drone inspection services within the wind energy sector. This role is pivotal in driving our business growth and expanding our market presence by engaging with wind turbine inspection companies and wind farm owners globally.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to attract and retain key clients in the wind energy sector
  • Lead negotiations and close deals with wind turbine inspection companies and wind farm owners
  • Perform on-site demos for potential customers together with our customer success team
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align offerings with market needs and trends
  • Manage and expand relationships with key stakeholders in the renewable energy industry
  • Deliver presentations and proposals to a variety of stakeholders, including technical audiences and executive boards
  • Attend industry conferences, workshops, and other networking events to promote Voliro’s services and capabilities
  • Provide insights into market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategy

Your profile

  • Proven experience in sales leadership roles, specifically within the wind energy sector
  • Demonstrable success in selling to wind turbine inspection companies and wind farm owners
  • Strong understanding of drone technology applications in industrial inspections
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet business objectives
