Financial Aid Case Worker

£13,880.40 per annum (FTE £24,290.70 per annum) (£6,940.20 for the duration of the contract)

Part-time, Fixed term contract (From July 2024 for six months)

20 hours per week, days to be agreed (will consider less hours)

Remote based with occasional travel


As a pivotal member of the team, the Financial Aid Case Worker will progress new financial aid applications against set criteria and be the first point of contact when answering calls to the Financial Aid helpline, as well as placing outbound calls to applicants, external case workers and money organisations as needed.


Your day will be spent reviewing applications and assessing the need of those applying for financial aid and where required providing appropriate onward referral / signposting to services provided by Retail Trust. For each application you will maintain client records via our CRM system, following clear guidance on application eligibility and allocation of funds to those approved for support. You will also contact applicants and case workers to offer unbiased, confidential guidance specific to the needs of each applicant.


We are looking for someone who is empathetic but can think quickly on their feet to join our Wellbeing team as a Financial Aid Caseworker. Ideally educated to GCSE/ A level standard, you should have strong organisational skills as well as an approachable telephone manner to engage with those seeking financial assistance form the Trust.


This is a fixed term contract for 6 months.
