Description We are looking for a Product Manager with experience in medical device marketing in the cardiovascular space that has a proven track record of success with a focus on downstream marketing. As the Shockwave Reducer Product Manager, you will drive marketing strategies for existing products, the go-to-market strategy for new products, plus, be involved with and potentially lead market development efforts for the Reducer System. This role is primarily focused on European and some international markets. Essential Job Functions Experience effectively working in a global environment preferred. As a Product Manager at Shockwave, you will lead or participate in the following activities:
Develop, implement, and coordinate execution of regional marketing activities for existing products and new product launches, in collaboration with local country managers and marketing coordinators
Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan and marketing budget
Create product marketing documents that describe high-value clinical cases, best practices, and customer testimonials.
Develop & maintain robust relationships with HCPs to drive awareness and adoption of the Reducer System.
Regularly update campaign materials and promotional assets as the Reducer System market presence evolves and customer needs/preferences change.
Conference/trade show planning and execution in collaboration with medical education
Partner with the Training and Education Manager to train the field force (sales, clinical, distributors) and develop training assets
Partner closely with marketing leadership, US and EU sales, cross-functional colleagues (including clinical, manufacturing, R&D, regulatory and finance), senior management and key physicians.
Assess and implement digital marketing Initiatives.
Assist in the development and execution of global product launch plans for new products, including inventory planning, account targeting, segmentation, marketing materials development, and sales support materials and field training.
Measure the success of products launch and new marketing programs: develop trackers and dashboards and monitor KPIs.

Requirements
Ability to build successful partnerships with the sales force, develop relationships with key opinion leaders and to modify strategies and tactics, when necessary, based on voice of customer and emerging trends.
Effective communication skills with all levels of management and organizations.
Excellent collaboration skills with an ability to gain the respect/buy-in from your stakeholders across Shockwave Medical.
A demonstrable ability to understand the needs and economics of the business and the market around it.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, operating as a team and independently, adapting to changing requirements.
At ease in a clinical selling environment.
Experience with CRM systems/marketing content approval processes
Bachelor’s degree plus MBA or “Equivalent experience” could be considered.
Product marketing experience in the medical device field required.
Marketing of cardiovascular related products is a plus.
Fluent written and spoken French or German and English plus one additional major European language preferred.
Experience bringing new novel products to market is a plus.
Up to 50% travel may be required.
