In Summary

We’re looking for a PHP Front End Developer to work on the framework of our shared websites, maintaining and delivering new functionality for the features we are building. If you can juggle a number of small changes and a handful of bigger changes while keeping an eye on the bigger picture and the next generation of our tools, then we’re interested in talking to you.

The Job:

• Maintaining internal custom framework and handling ad-hoc requests for specific sites.
• Diagnosing and fixing production issues.
• Participating in code reviews.
• Identifying areas with technical debt and proposing improvements.
• Providing active peer support in technical discussions and issue resolution.
• Writing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Actively contributing to the improvement of processes and ways of working.
• Working in an agile environment using the Scrum methodology.
• Providing front-end support on a rotational basis after 12 months with the company.

What you already have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in PHP, ideally 5 years of experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with Angular 2+.
• At least 2 years of experience in JavaScript.
• A solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Solid knowledge of the Object-Oriented Programming paradigm in PHP and JavaScript.
• Proficiency using Git.
• Knowledge of using Docker containers.
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing.
• The ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changes.
• Good interpersonal skills and a positive team attitude.

Nice to have:

• Strong knowledge of common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
• Experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience migrating legacy codebases to cleaner architectures and modern frameworks.
• Experience in the iGaming industry.
