Job Description

Backend Engineer

What you'll be working on
  • Developing and maintaining backend APIs and services
  • Building scalable and performant backend architectures
  • Integrating with frontend and other internal/external services
  • Troubleshooting and debugging backend issues

Responsibilities
  • Design and architect new backend features
  • Write clean, reusable and tested code
  • Optimize application performance
  • Ensure high scalability, availability and reliability of services
  • Adhere to best practices for security, performance and maintainability

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience building backends with Python, Node.js or Java
  • Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
  • Knowledge of design patterns, data structures and algorithms
  • Familiarity with containerization, cloud services and DevOps tools
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
