Shegerian & Associates, Inc. is California's premier plaintiff side employment law firm, led by acclaimed trial attorney Carney Shegerian. We're seeking a Senior Employment Attorney to join our team, someone ready to own a caseload from intake through trial, lead strategy, and help shape the next generation of litigators at the firm.

What You'll Do

• Manage your own docket from intake through trial with full ownership of your cases
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and briefs
• Take and defend depositions (required)
• Appear regularly in court, mediations, and arbitrations
• Lead case strategy and mentor junior attorneys, passing on what it takes to win

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Active California Bar membership
• 3+ years of plaintiff side employment litigation experience
• Deposition experience required, trial experience strongly preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage cases independently, lead strategy, and mentor junior attorneys

• Base salary of $160,000 to $200,000 BOE, plus commission on the net settlement amount. Many Shegerian associates out-earn peers at BigLaw and comparable plaintiff firms
