Full-Time Live-Out Nanny Housekeeper in Vaud, Switzerland bei Good-People

A family based near Vevey, Vaud is looking for an experienced, organised, and proactive Live-Out Nanny Housekeeper with a Driver's License to join their family on a long-term basis starting in September.

The family has a 3-month-old baby and a 3-year-old daughter. Mum is a doctor who works shifts, and Dad travels frequently for work, so they are looking for someone who is flexible, dependable, and confident managing both childcare and household responsibilities.

Working hours will vary according to Mum's monthly work schedule, which is provided well in advance. Most days begin a 7:00 am, assisting with the morning routine and school drop-off, followed by housekeeping while the eldest child is at school and the baby is resting. Afternoon childcare will be required after school, with occasional evening, weekend, and overnight support when needed.

Responsibilities

• Childcare
• Providing attentive and loving care for a 3-month-old baby and a 3-year-old child
• Assisting with the morning routine and preparing the children for the day
• School and nursery drop-offs and pick-ups
• Planning age-appropriate activities and play
• Supporting the children's daily routines, meals, naps, and development
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
• Housekeeping
• General cleaning and organisation of the family home
• Laundry and ironing
• Changing bed linen and maintaining tidy living spaces
• Keeping children's bedrooms, toys, and play areas organised
• Grocery shopping and household errands when required
• Assisting with meal preparation where needed

Requirements

• Previous experience as both a nanny and housekeeper in a private household
• Confident caring for both a newborn and a young child
• Flexible with varying working hours
• Hold a valid driver's licence (essential)
• Swiss or EU Passport or a Swiss Work Permit
• Have excellent references
