Experienced After-School Nanny - Lucerne (LU) bei Good-People

Location: Lucerne, Switzerland
Start date: As soon as possible
Schedule: Approximately 22–26 hours per week

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Wednesday: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Occasional Saturday work (to be discussed)

Contract: Permanent, Live-out

A warm and welcoming family based in Lucerne is looking for an experienced, caring, and energetic After-School Nanny to care for their children following a change in their school schedule.

The family is seeking a long-term nanny who enjoys creating a positive, engaging environment while supporting the children's daily routines and development.

Key responsibilities

• Collect the children from school
• Drive them safely to after-school activities and appointments
• Organise fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities
• Encourage learning and language development through play
• Prepare healthy snacks or simple meals for the children
• Assist with homework when needed
• Ensure the children's safety, wellbeing, and daily routines
• Keep children's areas tidy and organised

Requirements

• Previous professional experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role
• Checkable references
• Native Swiss German or native English speaker (mandatory)
• Valid driving licence with confident driving experience
• Warm, reliable, organised, and proactive
• Able to build a trusting, long-term relationship with the family
• Flexible to occasionally work on Saturdays
• Swiss/EU passport or valid Swiss work permit
