Senior Full Stack Developer bei Fastbreak AI
Fastbreak AI · Charlotte, Vereinigte Staaten Von Amerika · On-site

Description
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll design and ship high-performance web applications across our React/Next.js frontend and Node.js/Express backend with real autonomy. You'll make architectural calls, explain the tradeoffs behind them, and stand behind them in review. You'll work directly with product managers and stakeholders to shape requirements, not just receive them. And you'll help raise the bar for the engineers around you through mentorship and thorough code review.
You won't be handed a ticket queue. You'll help decide what gets built, how it gets built, and why, then own that decision end-to-end. At Fastbreak AI, engineering isn't downstream of product; it's at the table shaping it. This is a role for someone who gets energized by complexity, cares about craft, and wants their fingerprints on the architecture of a product that's changing how sports organizations operate.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance web applications using React, Next.js, and Express
- Own architectural decisions and be able to articulate the reasoning and tradeoffs behind them
- Integrate AI and LLM-powered features into production applications thoughtfully and with an eye toward reliability and user impact
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to shape technical requirements from the ground up
- Diagnose and resolve complex bugs across the full stack
- Champion engineering best practices and help define how the team works at its best
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with React.js and Next.js on the frontend
- Solid Node.js and Express.js experience on the backend
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, or similar)
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working within a microservices architecture
- Comfort with Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices
- Active use of AI coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar) as part of your day-to-day workflow
- A track record of making and defending architectural decisions, not just implementing them
- Clear communication skills; you can translate technical tradeoffs for non-technical stakeholder
- Nice to Have:
- Experience building or integrating LLM-powered features in production (RAG pipelines, agent workflows, evaluation frameworks)
- Familiarity with sports tech, real-time data pipelines, or performance-sensitive consumer applications
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code or deployment automation
