At Super, Product Managers Technical sit at the intersection of customer needs, business goals, and technical capabilities — driving the vision, execution, and evolution of our products and platform services. This role covers two connected domains: building a unified sports data platform that powers how we ingest, reconcile, and distribute data across our product ecosystem, and leading the decoupling of our offer and trading systems so that pricing, offer creation, and distribution can evolve and scale independently. You will own the product strategy and cross-team delivery for both, representing a foundational shift in how our sportsbook is architected.
What the role involves
- Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for sports data platform and offer decoupling initiatives, aligned with business goals and multi-sport, multi-market expansion.
- Lead the architectural separation of offer and trading systems — identifying coupling points, defining target-state boundaries, and managing phased migration paths.
- Own cross-team programme delivery across multiple engineering teams, managing dependency chains, sequencing, and integration milestones.
- Write clear product requirements and ensure engineering teams have what they need to design and build; review technical designs and provide input.
- Define and track success metrics around platform adoption, data quality, system reliability, and decoupling progress.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and trade-offs across teams — re-sequencing when things shift and escalating early.
- Communicate programme status, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders at all levels, from engineering teams to senior leadership.
- Partner with operations and trading teams to ensure new capabilities are operationally viable and adopted.
What we are looking for
- 7+ years in technical product management, programme management, or engineering leadership.
- 5+ years of end-to-end product delivery in a technology-led organisation.
- Proven track record leading cross-team programmes with complex dependencies, coordinating delivery across multiple teams with sequenced milestones and integration points.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, data pipelines, and event-driven systems.
- Experience with system decoupling, platform modernisation, or legacy migration — breaking apart monolithic or tightly coupled systems into independently deployable services.
- Experience with platform or infrastructure product work where customers are other engineering teams and success is measured by adoption, reliability, and operational independence.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving decisions with competing priorities and incomplete information.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, iterative delivery, and backlog management.
Nice to have
- Experience in sports betting, iGaming, or real-time trading platforms.
- Familiarity with entity resolution, master data management, or multi-source data reconciliation.
- Experience with offer management, pricing systems, or trading platform architecture.
- Background in software engineering or a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
