Lab49 is building a next-generation AI-embedded Quality Engineering Platform for a leading financial services institution. This greenfield role focuses on building a full-stack, AI-native SDLC/STLC platform from scratch, combining application development, AI-driven workflows, and continuous testing capabilities to transform how software is delivered at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build a scalable full-stack platform (Java + React) supporting AI-enabled SDLC/STLC workflows
Leverage tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and agentic frameworks to build intelligent engineering workflows
Develop APIs and services for automated test generation, execution, reporting, and quality insights
Integrate testing frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured) as platform capabilities, NOT manual QA
Embed platform capabilities into CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery, automated validation, and release governance
Design agent-driven pipelines for code, testing, validation, and documentation workflows
Partner with engineering teams to onboard and drive adoption of the platform across programs
Ensure auditability, traceability, and compliance aligned with financial services standards
Required Qualifications
7–12 years of full-stack development experience with Java (Spring Boot) and React
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot)
Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience building scalable, developer-facing platforms or frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured or modern testing frameworks
Exposure to agentic workflows or AI-enabled SDLC practices
Experience in financial services or regulated environments
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Docker)
